This course builds upon knowledge acquired in previous coursework. Students continue to develop skills to recognize problems, form strategies and implement solutions. Food and beverage operations are further researched and analyzed for maximum operational performance.

Building on knowledge gained in Principles of Microeconomics, this course uses various economic models to provide an understanding of macroeconomics. Students gain an insight into production, finances, labor, and foreign exchange markets while developing skills to apply economic principles to wider social issues. This course provides students with an essential awareness of the domestic economy and its operation in an international environment.

This course adopts an enterprise management perspective which aims to develop an understanding of managerial and organizational performance and of strategic decision making in a competitive industrial environment. Students develop conceptual and practical skills in integrating financial, organization, marketing and production /service functions within an overall business strategy.
