The course encompassed an understanding of the basic concepts, strategies, and theories of marketing management. The influence of marketing environment; consumer and organization buying behavior; decisions and strategies pertaining to marketing mix such as product, price, distribution, and promotion; are strategic marketing planning, implementation, and control of marketing program; major techniques in gathering information that determine the marketing objectives and strategies of companies are discussed.

Strategic management is defined as the process by which leaders of the Organisation, analyse the internal and external environments for the purpose of formulating strategies and allocating resources to develop a competitive advantage in an industry that allows for the successful achievement of their Organisation goals. This course is focused on the continuous process of creating, implementing and evaluating decisions that enable an Organisation to achieve its objectives and goals. It involves the continuous planning, executing, monitoring, analysis and assessment of all that is necessary to meet the Organisational objectives and goals.

This course deals with human behaviour in organizations. Conceptual frameworks, case discussions, and skill-oriented activities are applied to course topics which include: motivation, learning and development, group dynamics, leadership, communication, power and influence, change, diversity, organizational design, and culture. Class sessions and assignments are intended to help participants acquire skills and analytic concepts to improve organizational relationships and effectiveness.

The course aims to explore the learner on the importance and use of accounting information in business decisions. Learners also expose to the basic framework of accounting in relation to business. In addition, learners also expose to the concepts of risks and return and time value of money as well as understanding on capital structure of an organisation and different methods of fund raising for an organisation and costs involved.

This course is designed to be an overview of the major functions of management. Emphasis is on planning, organizing, controlling, directing, and communicating. Upon completion, students should be able to work as contributing members of a team utilizing these functions of management.

This course helps students become more effective leaders through communication skills and strategies, emotional intelligence, and audience analysis. It addresses challenges faced by managers in contemporary business settings such as bridging cultural differences, consensus building, conflict management, and grievance avoidance. Students will explore more effective ways of listening, speaking, writing and thinking. Through this course participants can maximise their leadership potential by realizing that communication is a valuable management tool.

This training exposes students on the influences of Information Systems in the decision-making process in an organization and the types of Information Systems utilized, depending on the organization structure. Student also will be exposing with the IS governance and strategy in managing emerging technology in organization.

This course enables students to develop their understanding of research methods, and confidence in designing a research project, choosing and executing appropriate methods, and assessing its intellectual/academic rigour. This course introduces students to quantitative and qualitative methods for conducting meaningful inquiry and research. They will gain an overview of research intent and design, methodology and technique, format and presentation, and data management and analysis informed by commonly used statistical methods.  The course will develop each student’s ability to use this knowledge to become more effective as leaders in the future moving towards research world.
