The objective of this advanced level course is to apply knowledge and understanding gained from previous coursework to tactical and strategic marketing decisions in a changing environment. Using case studies students develop skills in researching and critically assessing decision models with the ultimate aim of developing effective marketing strategies.

This course covers the application of basic accounting concepts and methods to the following introductory topics: Company accounting, analysis and interpretation of financial statements and the use of cost data in manufacturing operations.

Recognizing that moral reasoning is a complex task requiring in-depth practical application of theoretical ethical philosophies, students gain an understanding of business ethics through the use of a case study approach. Students apply theories to a broad selection of ethical dilemmas facing business professionals and examine the variety of possible outcomes. This course aims to foster respect for the individual differences and variety of roles played by all of society’s stakeholders.
