Psychology is the study of mind and behavior in humans and non-humans. Psychology includes the study of conscious and unconscious phenomena, including feelings and thoughts. It is an academic discipline of immense scope, crossing the boundaries between the natural and social sciences.

This course focuses on the permanent civil servant in the civil administration, excluding judges of the juridical order and civil servants of the legislative order. Regulations are on civil servants, who are covered by separate statutes (such as the Military Personnel of the Royal Armed Forces and the Police). Furthermore, this course shall only provide an overview on the most important rules applicable to all permanent civil servants in the administrative sector and not on those only applicable for one specific group.

This course is concerned with Cambodian society and the law. Topics include common, civil and criminal law as it is being developed in Cambodia; Khmer courts and tribunals; case law and the doctrine of precedent; statute law and statutory interpretation; and legal research and materials including law reports, books, journals, and electronic research.

Criminal law in Cambodia is a specialized area relating to the commitment of action by persons or parties acting contrary to law.  Topics in this course include property crime, sexual offences, prison sentencing, and the determination of other punishment for criminal activity.
