In this course students are introduced to the key topics in international marketing. Students study factors affecting marketing activities in foreign markets; the field of international marketing; research for marketing in a foreign environment; entry strategies; marketing mix for foreign markets; and planning, implementation and controlling of marketing strategies in foreign markets.

The subject is designed to utilize problem solving, marketing and finance skills to diagnose problems in and formulate operating strategies for accommodation operations in the hospitality industry. Students learn to understand and analyze key issues in the major operational areas of hotels including food and beverage production and purchasing; rooms division management; conference and events management; and general management.
